Job Title: Germany Sales Manager


Good Will Instrument Euro. BV, a Netherlands’ business entity, a wholly own subsidiary of GW Instek group has an immediate opening for a Germany Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the success of all sales and marketing strategies. This candidate will be knowledgeable about the market and our competitive advantages in order to best recommend new sales strategies for success. The candidate must also support and drive more selling time/preference of the existing sales channels and develop new sales channels to achieve challenging sales goals. This is a home-based position and a candidate living in Bavaria Germany is preferred. 

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
  • Set regional sales strategies for the Germany market and execute them
  • Enable the channel to act, and develop the channels to the right track by training, support, and engagement to gain the mindshare with a good program
  • Develop new channels (National Channel/Regional Channel) to raise the Germany sales coverage
  • Understand the organization structure, key business contacts, targeted customers, strength/weakness, competition and opportunity of each respective channel
  • Chase after the demo order, upload the products information to its web and catalog, provide the products training and lay-out the promotion activities with channel after NPI
  • Conduct product demo to key account, proactively engage in channels sales meeting/ or technical support team to provide the presentation of the products to increase its selling time and drive the preference
  • Joint visit key account with the channels to understand its application and business opportunity, and design-in specifications of GW Instek products
  • Capable of managing channels conflict and providing constructive suggestion to better serve the channel at the best interest of GW Instek
  • Periodically feedback the competition, forecast, demand trend and product improvement and new products direction to HQ’s product group
  • Capable of tailoring the channel-friendly program like the premier program, field award program, and promotion to drive the demand of GW Instek products


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. BSEE preferred
  • Understands Germany T&M market
  • Fluent in speaking and writing German
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience
  • 3+ years’ experiences in selling DC/AC programmable power supplies
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Ability to work Independently
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel on a frequent basis
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Value of proactive mindset, teamwork, goal-achievement, passionate to serve customer and accountability
