Q5 gw_product_detail_bar.png gw_product_detail_bar.png Regarding to LCR-800 series, how many testing frequency points for test?

The LCR-821 can provide 504 different frequencies with a 5 digit resolution including decimal places. Any frequency can be keyed from the number pad, and the closest available frequency (of 504) will be selected automatically. The LCR-818/829 has 503 different frequencies and the LCR-817/827 and LCR-816/826 have 489 and 245, respectively. The LCR-821 can provide 504 different frequencies with a 5 digit resolution including decimal places. Q6 gw_product_detail_bar.png gw_product_detail_bar.png Regarding to LCR-800 series, how do I do to set the test mode from manual to automatic?

Hold the START key for a few seconds to toggle from automatic or manual testing on.

Q7 gw_product_detail_bar.png gw_product_detail_bar.png Regarding to LCR-800 series, what is the correct procedure for Open/Short Zeroing when using the LCR-06A test fixture?

The LCR-06A test fixture is very sensitive and thus must be used correctly. The LCR-06A test fixture is very sensitive and thus must be used correctly.

  • For Open Zeroing, make sure that the test fixture wires do not move and that there is nothing in close proximity to the test clips.
  • For Short Zeroing ensure the clips are properly shorted.
